Protectosil® WS 808 is intended for water-proofing of mineral substrates, in particular as a water-vapour permeable, colourless treatment of natural stone and low-fired clay products, sandstones and gypsum. It consolidates and hydrophobates any mineral construction material and protects from rising damp and is also suitable for the restoration of natural stone.

• is a clear water-based liquid
• is especially suited as water-proofing for low-fired clay products such as roofing tiles, common brick, floor tiles, terracotta etc as well as various natural stones and gypsum.
• protects against formation of algae, reduces dust pickup and blackening
• protects brick work from rising damp
• is suitable for restoration of natural stones
• is supplied as concentrate: the recommended dilution rate ranges from 1:10 – 1:100 depending on the substrate. For the treatment of common brick and roofing tiles a dilution rate of 1:10 is recommended
• has excellent reduction of water uptake and soluble salts (e.g. chlorides)
• is resistant against alkaline environment
